Fleet of Geniuses

The Music Is
Still Playing

A manifesto on the future of knowledge work, AI orchestration, and why the next 12 months will change everything.

01

In 12-24 months, the way knowledge work gets done will be unrecognizable.

A change faster than most people are ready for.

Right now, most companies are stuck at copy-paste. They've got ChatGPT open in a browser tab. Maybe a few employees are "pretty good" with prompts. But the actual work like emails, research, document prep, project coordination is still mostly done the old way.

The companies figuring out the bot-to-agent handoff now will be the ones ready to scale when fleet orchestration matures.

02

The fundamental step change in AI

A small percent of the population had already moved past copying and pasting with AI chatbots.

Tools like Claude Code and Claude Cowork are already enabling massive automation of deep work that was traditionally done by developers, SDRs, marketers, and more. These aren't chatbots. They're autonomous agents that can execute complex, multi-step tasks.

At the same time, we're seeing the emergence of personal AI assistants (like OpenClaw) that finally deliver on the "Jarvis" promise. Bots that can access your calendar, your email, your context and can actually do something with it.

Here's the big change: these two things are starting to connect.

We already have the first working versions of personal assistant bots that can delegate deep work tasks to autonomous agents. Your bot handles the coordination. The agents handle the execution. You handle the judgment calls and the relationships.

This coworking relationship between humans, bots, and agents will mature from proof of concept to daily usage by teams before the end of this quarter.

But, what comes next is where we are headed: fleets.

03

What's Coming in 2026

Scaling from one bot and a handful of agents to coordinated fleets isn't a question of if, it's a question of how soon.

The companies figuring out the bot-to-agent handoff now will be the ones ready to scale when fleet orchestration matures. And based on the pace we're seeing, that's not a 2027 conversation. It's a 2026 conversation. Possibly much sooner than the end of the year even.

The question isn't whether this happens. The question is: how far will fleet coordination be by the end of this year?

Will we be deploying our second or third generation of fleets?

04

The Knowledge Is the Moat

There will be hard-won lessons from this year on how to build agent workflows that actually work, how to separate read and write permissions to harden against prompt injection, how to structure handoffs between bots and agents, when to compact context and when to start fresh. It's hard to say how much will be publicly shared about these lessons or how spread out the knowledge will be if it is available.

If you're in the arena learning it, then you'll have the knowledge compiled in an executable way.

The alarmist in us worries that the people who learn to orchestrate AI agents now might be the only ones who truly know how to do it. We're not worried whether people will continue sharing open source projects, although it is a thought that has occurred to us. We're worried that the compounding effects of keeping up make it harder and harder to catch up.

The people who learn to orchestrate AI agents now might be the only ones who truly know how to do it.

Fleet of Geniuses is on a mission to master what it takes to deploy and manage fleets of AI bots and agents, and we're looking for companies who want to be on that journey with us.

We're not selling a turnkey solution. Nobody has one yet. What we have is a head start: we're already deep in the work of deploying bots, building agent workflows, hardening security, and learning the hard lessons that only come from doing this for real.

We work alongside our partners to deploy the current generation of bot and agent infrastructure while building toward the fleet capabilities that are just around the corner. Every engagement teaches us something new. Every problem we solve together becomes part of the playbook for what comes next.

This isn't a vendor relationship. It's an alignment. We're betting on this future, and we're looking for companies who want to bet on it with us. So that when fleets become possible, we're not starting from scratch. We're scaling what we've already built together.

06

Who This Is For

This is for leaders who feel the ground shifting.

You've read the essays. You've seen the demos. You know something big is happening, and you're not interested in being the company that figured it out too late.

You want your people equipped, not replaced. You want to be part of the group that captures the outsized gains from this transition, not the group that gets compressed by it.

You're willing to move now, even if the path isn't perfectly clear, because you understand that the downside of acting too early is much smaller than the downside of waiting to find out.

You want a partner who's in the arena with you, not a consultant watching from the stands.

07

What We Believe

The music is still playing

The firms that figure out bot and agent orchestration in the next 12-24 months will sit in the remaining chairs. The rest will be standing when it stops.

Someone is going to do this

The question is whether it's done by people with your values and your reputation, or by someone else who doesn't care about getting it right.

The capability is the moat

You can't just hire this knowledge later. If you're not building the muscle now, you're hoping the game doesn't change as fast as it looks like it will.

Action over certainty

We'd rather be wrong from the position of someone who acted than right from the position of someone who waited and hoped.

Join Us

We're not looking for customers. We're looking for partners.

Companies who want to be first (or at least early) to what's coming. Who want to learn alongside us, share the hard-won lessons, and be ready to deploy a FOG (Fleet of Geniuses) when that becomes possible.

If that's you, let's talk.

The window is open. The music is playing. Let's figure this out together.
